Google Ads freelancer

Google Ads freelancer: the senior specialist you hire is the one who runs the account. Meta and Microsoft when they fit.

I am Diego Willian Zietek, an independent Google Ads freelancer and paid media consultant with 14+ years on the account. Campaign management, conversion tracking and landing page work, with one point of contact and a flat monthly fee. Built for businesses in the US, Canada and Europe. Companies from any country that work in English are welcome.

Trutek, truck parts, Google Ads since 2020. About 260 attributed contact conversions from 5,707 clicks in the account's history, at R$ 63.61 per conversion.

Health plan reseller, October 2019. 651 quote requests from Google Ads at R$ 14.31 each, on the same spend as the month before.

What you get every month

  • Weekly work inside the account: search terms, bids, budgets, ads, exclusions
  • Conversion tracking maintained: GA4, Tag Manager, offline import
  • Landing pages written and built by me on your site or page builder; work that needs your developer is specified for them
  • A written report on cost per customer and what changed
  • Direct access to me, no account manager in between

Experience

Brands I've worked on

Fourteen-plus years across agency, in-house and freelance roles put me on accounts with very different economics: SaaS and subscription products such as Intuit QuickBooks, Skillshare and Pontomais, global consumer brands such as Shell, Timberland and Amazon Prime, home services companies such as an HVAC and plumbing business in Houston, and companies in telecom, education, healthcare and e-commerce. Through Underscore Marketing, a US agency, I also worked on oncology, rare disease and gene therapy brands.

Brands Diego Willian Zietek has worked on: Shell, Timberland, Intuit QuickBooks, Mission AC & Plumbing, Amazon Prime, Skillshare, Regus, TIM, Pontomais, Bluecore, TradingWorks, Underscore Marketing, PUCPR, Grupo Marista, Clinipam (Grupo NotreDame Intermédica), Forza JMalucelli, PneusAqui, Joias VIP, Éclairé and Trutek

What carries over to your account is pattern recognition: how a trial-to-paid funnel differs from a lead form, which conversions each business can actually measure, and where spend usually leaks.

Services you can hire

Google Ads management

Month-to-month management of Search, Shopping, Performance Max and YouTube. Tracking and landing pages in scope.

Flat monthly fee · set by scope, not by ad spend · no contract term

Google Ads audit

A paid, independent review with fixes ranked by impact. Written report you keep, credited against the first month if you continue.

Fixed price · quoted by email from the form · credited against month one

Setup and conversion tracking

A new account or a rebuild, with tracking that works from day one. Run it yourself afterwards or hand it back to me.

Fixed price · scoped by platforms and tracking complexity

Consulting and advisory

Strategy, a second opinion on an agency, or standing sessions with your in-house team. No need to move the account.

Hourly for standing advisory · fixed price per deliverable

Every engagement is quoted from the form, in US dollars, pounds or euros: spend band, platforms and what is not working are enough for a range. Never a percentage of ad spend, which you pay directly to the platforms. How each model works is on the pricing page.

Platforms

Google Ads, first

Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube. Where most of the budget and most of the mistakes are, and the core of every engagement. Management →

Microsoft Advertising

The same intent at a lower cost per click for B2B, finance and professional services. Managed natively, not just imported.

Meta Ads

Facebook and Instagram for demand creation, remarketing and lead generation, measured against the CRM rather than the platform's own numbers.

Two or more platforms under one operator and one measurement layer is PPC management. Agencies that need a senior operator on a client account: white label PPC.

Who this fits

Companies spending $3K to $80K a month

Enough for the flat fee to be a small share of the total, and small enough that one senior person can run everything properly. Below that, a setup or audit is the better buy.

Owners and marketing leads who want the operator

You would rather talk to the person in the account than to someone relaying their questions. Reports are written for owners: cost per customer and what changed.

Lead generation and e-commerce

Home services, healthcare, B2B and SaaS, law firms and professional services, online stores. More industry pages are on diwizi.com.

How an engagement starts

  1. A short form. Spend band, site and what has been tried. I reply myself with whether it is a fit, what I would look at first and a price range; a short call follows if it makes sense.
  2. A fixed-price audit. Written findings ranked by impact: tracking first, then structure, then bidding and search terms. Yours to implement, with or without me.
  3. Build or rebuild. Tracking fixed before anything else, because every bidding decision inherits whatever the conversion data says.
  4. Month-to-month management. Weekly work in the account, a written monthly report, a call whenever you want one. Thirty days' notice instead of a contract term.

I keep the client list short on purpose; that is what makes the first column work. What a month with a freelance PPC consultant looks like, and how it differs from an agency retainer, is on its own page.

Questions people ask before hiring

How much does a Google Ads freelancer cost?

Management is a flat monthly fee set by scope, not tied to ad spend. An audit is a fixed price quoted from the form and credited against the first month if you continue. No twelve-month contract. The pricing page explains how each model behaves and what to ask before you sign with anyone.

What is the minimum ad spend you work with?

No hard minimum, but the retainer only makes sense once the account spends enough for the fee to be a small share of the total; in practice from about $3,000 a month. Below that, a one-off setup or audit is the better buy.

Who owns the Google Ads account, the tags and the landing pages?

You do, always. I work inside your accounts with manager access. Nothing is built in a container I control, so leaving me never means starting over.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes. The site is written for the US, Canada and Europe, and I work with companies from any country that operate in English, quoted in US dollars, pounds or euros. UK and Irish businesses also have ppcconsultancy.uk, quoted in pounds for the UK and euros for Ireland. I work remotely from Curitiba, Brazil, on GMT-3 all year: one to five hours ahead of US time zones, depending on the zone and the season, and three to five hours behind Europe, so calls fit a US morning or a European afternoon.

Can you take over an account an agency built?

Yes, and it is one of the most common starting points. The audit usually finds duplicated conversion actions, broad match on Smart Bidding without negatives, and campaigns organised by whoever built them rather than by what you sell.

Do you also run Meta or Microsoft Ads?

Yes. Google Ads is the core of the work, and Meta Ads and Microsoft Advertising are added when there is a measured reason, run by the same person.

Tell me about the account

Spend band, site and what is not working. You get a straight answer on whether I can help, what I would do first and a price range. No proposal deck, no sales follow-up sequence.
